Nine slots, eleven families

Frankie Boyle's plan, unedited: what each of jwPIM's nine image slots means for each of the eleven product families, and whether the pixels filling it may be synthetic. Universal intent lives on the slot; interpretation lives on the family; nothing here restates what the real pack looks like — that stays with packaging types and reference photography. Decision one

Slot 9, “Other,” is required nowhere. A required catch-all demands content with no defined job. It stays the overflow home for a real asset that fits no slot — never a generation target, never counted toward completeness, never syndicated.

Decision two

Text is a medium split, not a contradiction. Photography (slots 1–5) stays text-free, always. Designed graphics (7, 8, 11) carry text natively — the gate to a channel that bans text on product images is the slot's medium, not an exception.
